Daxa Building Solutions was formed in 2021 by Mark and Connor, and although we’re a small, family-run building contractor, we bring more than 50 years of combined experience to the table between us. Formed in 2021, Daxa Building Solutions is a small, family run outfit with Mark and Connor at the helm, backed by a wider team carrying over 50 years of combined experience. Our knowledge spans every aspect of building. We’re just as comfortable putting up a garden fence as we are managing a full garden renovation, and we handle new build projects alongside property renovations with the same level of attention. Extensions come in single, double, and wrap-around form, built in timber, brick, or block depending on what suits the property best.

Loft Conversions
Loft conversions are one of our specialities, and we cater for Velux, dormer, hip to gable, mansard, and modular types, depending on your roof space and what you’re hoping to gain from it. The process starts with an inspection of the roof space, followed by confirmation of suitability from an architect or surveyor, who will draw up the plans. From there, the loft is cleared and prepped, existing wiring is assessed, and new floor joists are fitted before the floors are insulated and floorboards laid.
Rafters are reinforced, dormers installed, and roof lights and windows fitted, with a new staircase added to give proper access to the space. Once the structure is complete, dormers are tiled and vented, insulation and partitions go in, and first fix carpentry, electrics, and plumbing are carried out. Heating systems are connected before the finishing decoration ties the whole space together, ready to use as a bedroom, office, or whatever else the extra room is needed for.
